# Developer Overview

> Choose a starting point for building on Kuru.

Use these guides to implement the concepts described in the [general docs](/introduction/spot.md). The TypeScript SDK builds contract calls, prepares signatures, submits supported Relay requests, and decodes onchain events.

## Start here

> **[First trade](/sdk/quickstart.md)**
>
> Configure a client, fund an account, place an order, and cancel it.

> **[Delegated trading](/sdk/relay-onboarding.md)**
>
> Authorize a secondary signer and connect it to Relay.

> **[Market and account data](/sdk/data.md)**
>
> Choose REST reads and WebSocket subscriptions.

> **[Contract architecture](/contracts/overview.md)**
>
> Understand custody, execution, and signed-action boundaries.

## SDK responsibilities

The SDK accepts caller-provided viem public and wallet clients. `kuru.account` handles account operations; `kuru.spot` handles market operations. Lower-level request builders support applications that separate construction, signing, and submission.

Your application owns transaction confirmation, order reconciliation, nonce allocation, and strategy decisions. A returned transaction hash is not a confirmed order.

## Advanced integrations

Use the [method reference](/sdk/method-reference.md) for callable SDK surfaces, [contract reference](/contracts/overview.md) for direct calls, and [indexing guide](/indexing/overview.md) if you need to reconstruct state yourself.

Package compatibility and the distinction between the published release and the reviewed release are covered in [Installation](/sdk/installation.md).
